Every project supported through Step Up for Deliverance begins with a need identified by Pastors Isaac and Lucy and the community they serve in Lokichoggio, Kenya.
Through the generosity of donors, funds have already been raised for important projects including a water tank, library, and dormitory needs. Each project represents people coming together to provide practical resources and help strengthen the work of Deliverance Church.

Projects You’ve Helped Make Possible
Kitchen Project
Completed project
Two Step Up for Deliverance board members helped raise funds to support the construction of a new kitchen for Deliverance Church.
The new kitchen provides a dedicated space to prepare meals for the children and others served through the church. It is a practical improvement that helps support the day-to-day needs of the community and makes it easier to provide meals in a more functional setting.
Library Project
Completed in 2025
In 2025, a new library was completed to provide children with a dedicated place to read, learn, and explore books.
What began with empty shelves became a welcoming learning space filled with books for the children to enjoy. Today, the library provides an important educational resource for the children and community served by Pastors Isaac and Lucy.

Dormitory Support
Ongoing project
The new boys’ dormitory has been built, but additional work is needed to make the space ready for use.
Current needs include re-doing the floor, improving drainage behind the washroom, and providing the furnishings and security needed for the dormitory.
Current Fundraising Goal: $4,958

The needs of a community can change, which is why Step Up for Deliverance works closely with Pastors Isaac and Lucy to understand where support can have the greatest impact.
When a need is identified, we share the project with our supporters, establish a fundraising goal, and work together to make it possible.
No gift stands alone. Each contribution becomes part of something bigger.
What’s Next?
Creating More Space to Learn
Besides our current project of completing the boys’ dormitory, we also are working on expanding the school.
The school needs three additional rooms to support its students and staff:
- PP1 & PP2 classroom
- Staff room
- Grade Seven classroom
Current Fundraising Goal: $6,000
Creating these spaces will help provide the school with the room it needs to continue serving its students.

Step Up for Deliverance is recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) public charity, effective May 13, 2026. Contributions are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
