WHO WE ARE

Connecting Generosity With Meaningful Needs

Step Up for Deliverance is a Minnesota-based nonprofit created to support Deliverance Church and its outreach to children and families in Lokichoggio, Kenya.

The organization began with a simple desire: to create a trusted and meaningful way for people to support the work Pastors Isaac and Lucy are already doing in their community. As needs arise, Step Up for Deliverance helps share those needs, raise the necessary funds, and provide support for projects that can make a lasting difference.


From safe housing and clean water to educational resources and other essential needs, each project is rooted in the day-to-day work of Deliverance Church. By connecting generous donors with specific, practical opportunities to help, Step Up for Deliverance makes it possible for people here to have a direct impact on children and families thousands of miles away.

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to support the work of Deliverance Church by raising funds for projects that improve the safety, health, education, and well-being of the children and families it serves.

From shelter and clean water to books, beds, and other essential resources, every project is connected to a genuine need within the local community.

A Partnership Rooted in the Community

Step Up for Deliverance was formed after a group of supporters saw the meaningful work Pastors Isaac and Lucy were doing in Lokichoggio and wanted a trusted way to help support it.

Because Pastors Isaac and Lucy live and serve in the community every day, they are able to identify the most pressing needs and oversee projects locally. Step Up for Deliverance helps bring those needs to a wider group of supporters by sharing the story, establishing fundraising goals, and connecting donors with practical opportunities to help.

This partnership keeps each project closely connected to the people it is intended to serve. Whether the need is shelter, clean water, educational resources, or something new that arises, the goal is always the same: provide timely, meaningful support that can make a lasting difference.

What We Support

Through the generosity of donors, Step Up for Deliverance has helped raise funds for projects including:

  • A dormitory for children in the church’s care
  • A water tank to improve access to water
  • A library and educational resources
  • Additional classroom space to better serve students and staff
  • Other church and community needs as they arise

Projects change as needs arise, allowing supporters to help where their generosity can make a meaningful difference.

Our Commitment to Donors
